The story
Jennifer Sargent manages a busy smoothie shop, where a customer named Lauren Miller floods the store with petty complaints and then accuses her of seducing her boyfriend, courier Matteo Velez. Lauren's jealousy spirals: she forces Matteo to keep a call open for hours, demands the shop's cameras, and insists the staff write pledges to stay away from him.
When head office supervisor James Wilson arrives, he warns that Lauren is the daughter of the company's biggest investor and orders Jennifer to obey Lauren's humiliating list of demands or lose her job. But Jennifer recognizes the voice of Lauren's father, Tom Miller, and knows exactly who he really is.
As Lauren appears and strikes her, Jennifer stands her ground against a family trading on a name that was never theirs.
