The story
Sixteen years ago, Nora secretly gave birth to an illegitimate child and switched her baby with her cousin's. The cousin knew the truth all along, yet raised Nora's daughter, Kara, in luxury, while her own child, Skylar, was kept as a lowly servant and cruelly abused.
Now Nora arrives uninvited, determined to reclaim Kara as her own. When Kara refuses to call her mother, Nora's mask slips, and she brutally punishes Skylar before the household, even as her husband Brandon watches in shock. The cousin stays calm, biding her time.
On the day of the royal wedding, Nora brings Skylar to the palace gates to expose the truth. The cousin only smiles and agrees to switch them back.
