The story
Damian Thorne, a CEO, promised his wife Seraphina a trip to the ocean for their wedding anniversary, but a hurricane struck and he never came. Instead, his intern Chloe Summers posted a video of him helping workers move seafood, and Seraphina liked it with a pointed comment. Damian called in fury, demanding she delete it and defend Chloe, insisting they are only colleagues. Seraphina asked for a divorce.
Stranded on flooded Oceanfront Road, Seraphina was rescued by Damian, but when Chloe called claiming a cold, he dropped his injured wife in the mud and drove off, dragging her hundreds of feet until her clothes tore and she lost consciousness. A stranger brought her home, where Chloe's group message bragged about Damian rushing to her.
Damian returned, dismissed Seraphina's wounds, and shoved a soaking gift box at her, knocking over iodine. She smashed it into his face and served divorce papers. After her resignation was instantly approved, she faced Chloe's provocation at the office and splashed bubble tea on her. Damian demanded an apology; Seraphina backed away in tears.
Opening
My CEO husband, Damian Thorne, promised to take me to the ocean for our wedding anniversary.
But then a hurricane hit. I waited for over two agonizing hours in the fierce wind and rain, and he never showed.
Finally, a text popped up: *emergency business trip, can’t make it.*
Yet, moments later, Chloe Summers, his intern, posted a video on Ins:
My usually pampered husband was barefoot, helping local workers transport seafood.
Her caption read: “My CEO husband isn’t afraid of a little hard work!”
