The story
When a false diagnosis spreads through her school, Lydia's life collapses in a single day. Branded as morally corrupt, she is shunned by colleagues and parents alike, while her husband Asher's family mocks her and strangers hurl stones and insults. Only Asher seems to stand by her, yet his comfort hides a cruel scheme: he has long since given his heart to Vera, and he wants Lydia gone so Vera can take her place.
Locked in an abandoned classroom and abandoned to a dangerous stranger, Lydia is blamed for the attack and fired by the Principal. Asher plays the devoted husband, urging her to apologize publicly at Vera's celebration, but every word he speaks defends the woman who took her life. Pregnant and alone, Lydia must decide how much more she will endure before she stops being the target of everyone's hatred.
