After the proposal, the venue moved on to the next agenda.

This wasn't just a Guinness award ceremony.

It was also the signing ceremony for Lily with the Antarctic research team.

Afterwards, she would lead the research team members across Antarctica, exploring the extreme night phenomenon and filming a documentary about it.

The signing was completed smoothly.

A month later, Lily and Timothy came to meet with the research team.

But when she saw one of the team members, she frowned.

"Ethan Dawson, why are you here?"

Ethan sneered, "I'm also a member of the research team, why shouldn't I be here? I'm going to Antarctica to investigate the truth!"

"Lily Graham, for the past year, you've been saying Zack abandoned you when danger struck, you said he's still alive, but I've waited for him for a whole year, and he never showed up!"

"You said he abandoned you so he's hiding from you, but why would he hide from me?"

Watching this scene, I sighed.

Ethan was my friend, the youngest research member of the Antarctic expedition team.

When I went to Antarctica, he had asked me to help collect some research samples.

I never thought that while I got the samples, I would end up permanently buried in that frozen land.

After my death, he was the one who cared about me the most.

He had come to ask Lily about my whereabouts more than once.

But he was always driven away by Lily, who even reported him for sexual harassment.

He almost lost his position as a research team member because of this.

Seeing this, Timothy spoke calmly:

"Ethan Dawson, the route Lily and I took before was too dangerous, even we almost died in the avalanche in Antarctica."

"So this time, I've redesigned the route, and we won't be following the previous one."

Hearing this, Ethan became angry, "You're just trying to cover up the truth, Zack must have been killed by you!"

Lily spoke coldly, "You may be professional in research, but when it comes to outdoor exploration, we are the professionals!"

"If Zack had listened to Timothy last time, we wouldn't have encountered the avalanche at all."

"If even he couldn't manage, how could you?"

Hearing this, I immediately felt indignant.

Timothy was actually like my apprentice, having only been involved in outdoor activities for a year. If it weren't for Lily's strong insistence on bringing him to Antarctica, I would never have taken him.

The route he designed seemed shorter and safer, but was actually full of dangers.

That route not only had to pass through mountains infested with snow wolves but also cross dangerous rivers.

Any accident at any point could have led to casualties in the team.

The route I had planned, on the other hand, was very safe.

If it weren't for the unexpected avalanche, we wouldn't have had any problems at all.

Lily didn't trust me, a person with ten years of outdoor experience, but instead trusted Timothy, who had only been doing outdoor activities for a year.

It was really laughable.

Hearing this, Professor White immediately pulled Ethan back.

"Don't worry, leave professional matters to professionals."

"We will strictly follow your route."
