The story
Reborn as Lucy, the newborn daughter of one of the world's richest men, she alone can see a stream of live comments that reveal the plot of the life ahead of her. The comments cheer on Jordi, a five-year-old boy who tries to swap her for his sick sister Lily so Lily can receive treatment for her congenital heart disease. Lucy wails until her father, the towering head of the Vance family, orders an investigation that exposes the plan within half an hour.
Cornered, Jordi claims he can see the future and that Lucy will one day love him enough to give up her fortune for him, reciting family secrets to prove it. Lucy knows he is only reading the comments. Her mother, recovering from childbirth, refuses to pay for Lily's care and calls the boy a manipulative monster; Jordi leaves vowing that Lucy will one day hate her parents for their cruelty.
Lucy, who kept the memories of a short, brutal first life, has no intention of becoming a fool for love. Yet her parents' hands tremble with fear of the future Jordi promised.
