The story
Rachel Fleming has a hereditary form of amnesia, and she has only seven days before she forgets everything. In those days, her boyfriend Jason Greg turns to her younger twin sister, Raven, and her family mocks her treasured Lego set, which her mother once gave her. When Raven is hospitalized over mangoes, they blame Rachel. On the seventh day, her father demands she quit her job and serve as a housekeeper, but she no longer recognizes any of them.
Dr. Chester Richmond warns that without treatment she will lose everything in seven days, yet Rachel decides to stop the treatment. She even ends her six-year relationship with Jason after he gives her a gift meant for Raven.
As her memory fades, the family that abandoned her begins to lose their minds.
Opening
By the time I found out, I had only seven days left.
On the first day, I found my boyfriend had fallen for my younger twin sister. With a bitter smile, I suggested we break up.
On the second day, my most treasured Lego set was smashed by my sister. Everyone laughed at me, saying I was disgraceful, unworthy of being a daughter of the Fleming family.
