Shattered Vows The Billionaire's Lost Daughter

Hilda Summers works in the funeral industry and has spent seven years loving Jasper Fairmont, the golden boy of the wealthy Fairmont family. On the eve of their wedding, she overhears him tell a friend that he never intended to register their marriage, that her job embarrasses his family, and that he is engaged to another woman, Vivienne Blake. Hilda says nothing.

When her grandmother Nora goes to the Fairmont Group to ask about the wedding, Vivienne publicly humiliates her, claiming Jasper as her own fiancé. Jasper orders security to remove the old woman and steps on her photo, then leaves with Vivienne. Grandma Nora collapses. By afternoon she is dead, and Hilda, who fed her body into the cremation furnace with her own hands, blocks Jasper's calls and cancels the wedding.

She withdraws her resignation but asks to be transferred to a branch in another city, telling her supervisor only that there will be no wedding. Jasper still believes she knows nothing.
