The story
Cassie Yowley has spent years devoted to her boyfriend, Jonathan Jenson, ever since he defended her in high school when she was ostracized and framed for stealing. When Jonathan loses his job, she lets him move into her home and supports him. But he soon acts like the place belongs to him, spending her money and moving his mother, Leah Doherty, in without asking.
Leah splurges on branded bags and clothes while demanding Cassie scrimp on her own needs. When Cassie buys herself a milkshake, Leah slaps her, calls her materialistic and unfilial, and dumps the drink in the trash, insisting Cassie hand over her payroll card. Jonathan sides with his mother, claiming Cassie's money belongs to him.
Fed up, Cassie freezes their bank cards and throws their luggage out, refusing to keep being leeched off by the family she once loved.
Opening
But he thinks he's the actual owner of my home now. Not only does he spend my money, but he also moves his family into my residence.
The entire Jenson family spends my money nilly-willy, and yet they have the nerve to demand that I scrimp up every penny when it comes to my own needs and wants.
