The story
Willow has been inseparable from her brother Asher for over twenty years, and he has always protected her. When she catches him secretly reading her diary, she plots a mischievous revenge: she fills a new locked diary with dramatic confessions about forbidden feelings for her own brother, then leaves it open for him to find. Asher is horrified, and his panic only fuels her game.
But the prank spirals. Asher grows distant and cold, and Willow keeps escalating her diary entries to test him. Then an old money couple arrives with a paternity test, claiming Asher as their son — and Willow is left reeling as the brother she has always leaned on may not be her brother at all.
Opening
After I accidentally discovered my brother reading my diary.
I was both furious and speechless. In retaliation, I wrote him into my diary:
“I’m a bad girl. How can I have those kinds of feelings for my own brother?”
“They say brotherly love is a sickness, it’s not right, I shouldn’t be like this.”
“But I really can’t control myself…”
From that day on, my brother looked at me like he’d seen a ghost every time he saw me.
