The story
At Noxin Technologies, an intern named Mandy Watsons hides self-righteous cost-cutting behind a mask of devotion to the company. She swaps a two-thousand-dollar client gift basket for a two-dollar knockoff, cuts the office power during overtime, and proposes canceling holiday leave. When Miss Jones, who built the company alongside her boyfriend Daniel Hart, speaks up for her team, Mandy accuses her of embezzlement and recommends she be fired. The shocking part? Daniel agrees.
As furious clients cancel partnerships over counterfeit gifts, Mandy's tears and humble-town story win Daniel's sympathy, and his gaze drifts from the woman who stood by him for five years. With her reputation and her relationship both under threat, Miss Jones can only wonder how the company will function without her.
A story of betrayal, regret, and a reckoning waiting to unfold.
