The story
For three years, Ava Linne built supply chains across Southeast Asia and carved out a billion-dollar empire for Liam Holt. She returns on the night of the Holt Group gala to find Liam arm-in-arm with the socialite Serena Walsh, and that same night he hands her divorce papers, claiming the company faces a money laundering investigation and he needs Serena's support. He asks Ava to stay on as a consultant and train Serena, expecting her to remain a vine wrapped around him.
Ava signs without hesitation, taking only a three-hundred-million-dollar portfolio of dead debt the Walsh family owes Holt Group. Liam and Serena strip her of her credit, naming Serena Head of Supply Chain, while Ethan delivers files that reveal the investigation is a smokescreen Liam fabricated to force her aside.
With her son Noah in her arms, Ava calls her old Wall Street partner to begin debt liquidation proceedings against the Walsh Group, warning Serena that Southeast Asia is full of things that bite.
