The story
Lucien, the Alpha Lord of the Lycan territories, is a tyrant all shifters fear and avoid. Yet the Alpha of the Rabbit Clan, who grew up beside him and knows his secret, keeps seeking him out. When Lucien pins the Rabbit Alpha down and threatens to devour him, the encounter ends with the Rabbit Alpha carried unconscious into Lucien's private chambers, where attendants are ordered to prepare a wedding.
Bound against his will, the Rabbit Alpha fights Lucien's every advance, but Lucien only grows more determined to claim him by force, even etching their names onto the Stone of Fates. Escape becomes the Rabbit Alpha's only aim, and a plan forms around Lucien's demand for obedience.
What begins as a clash of clans becomes a desperate struggle between two Alphas, one refusing to be owned and one refusing to let go.
Opening
Lucien, the Alpha Lord of the Lycan territories, was an undeniable tyrant.
All shifters feared and avoided him.
Yet, I, the Alpha of the Rabbit Clan, seemed to constantly seek him out.
Simply because we had grown up together.
More importantly, I knew his secret.
"Lucien, still nibbling on your tail, are we?"
I grinned mischievously, but he lunged, pinning me beneath him.
