Evelyn Blackwood shares a townhouse with her husband of convenience, Greg Pierce, and their live-in maid, Faith Jenkins. When Faith posts a tearful video claiming she ruined an employer's gown and cannot pay for it, the internet erupts, and Faith hints that her "Sir" has found another way for her to compensate him.

Evelyn sends the link to her Inner Circle, a group chat of the city's most eligible bachelors, and offers a challenge: shave five percent off the Pierce Group's stock price by the closing bell and earn the chance to replace her useless husband. By 2:00 PM the sell-off begins, and Greg calls, furious, defending Faith's loyalty over the vintage McQueen gown she destroyed.
