The story
Declan Reid is allergic to saliva, yet he once risked anaphylactic shock to take kissing scenes so he could afford to marry Skylar Harper. She eloped with him, spent half her assets to build his career, and watched him kneel before the cameras to swear he would never kiss another woman. Then a video arrives: Declan kissing Willow Thorne, his face flushed with health.
Skylar uploads it, and the internet turns on her. Willow weeps in public, the director calls it a leaked screen test, and Skylar's endorsements and roles vanish. When her Nana Eleanor suffers an asthma attack in Miami, Declan kneels again, begging to stay with Willow instead. Her family disowns her, and she asks him to meet her at the courthouse.
Three months after the divorce, Declan announces his engagement to Willow Thorne. At their engagement party, thugs corner Skylar at the gate, and Declan lands a punch on the man who touched her.
