The story
Connor's neighbor Victoria, who suffers from gout, keeps stealing his food deliveries. She even mocks him in the community group chat, calling anyone who orders takeout a loser. When a spicy pizza vanishes from his doorstep, a trail of sauce leads him to the door across the hall, where Victoria slams the door in his face.
Checking the security camera he installed after earlier thefts, Connor sees Victoria sneaking out to grab his food. Worse, her grandfather Vincent stands watch, then inspects the flowerpot by Connor's door and asks whether its hidden camera needs a battery change. The housewarming gift was a pinhole camera aimed at his doorway.
Victoria, it turns out, runs an illegal voyeurism group, selling secretly filmed footage of handsome men. She and Vincent plan to plant more cameras inside Connor's home. Now Connor knows the truth, and he intends to play along before striking back.
Opening
She even gossips about me in the community group chat:
"Only losers order takeout every single day!"
I smiled coldly and started doing my research, customizing a meal plan just for her.
"Foods gout patients must absolutely avoid."
"Which foods raise uric acid levels the most."
Since she wants to eat my food so badly, I'll let her eat her fill!
On my way home from work, I ordered a spicy pizza.
The delivery guy arrived before me, so I told him to leave it at my door.
A minute later, I stepped out of the elevator to find my doorstep completely empty.
