The Scorned Daughter: Favored by the Dragon Sovereign

I was the legitimate eldest daughter of the Stanley Dragon Court, but because I was born without a Dragon Core, I was abused and treated worse than a stray dog.

On the morning of my betrothal, my stepmother and half-sisters lured me to the edge of the Dragonbone Ravine and shoved me into the abyss.

Before my body at the bottom of the cliff could even grow cold, they gleefully arranged a posthumous ghost wedding for me.

They prepared to bind my corpse to a dead nobleman's ashes just to secure their own power and completely erase my mother's bloodline from the estate.

My father, the Dragon Lord, was away hunting, completely unaware that his legitimate daughter was about to be nailed into a blackwood coffin by his concubine.

They thought the fall had crushed my bones and buried my existence forever.

They thought a weak, unawakened girl could never fight back against the noble Dragon-kin.

But they didn't know the original Elianna was already dead.

The soul that woke up in her broken body at the bottom of that ravine was an elite assassin from another life.

Covered in mud and blood, I climbed up the jagged cliffs and kicked open the heavy oak doors of my own funeral.

"It seems I'm late for my own wedding?"

Looking at their terrified, pale faces, I grabbed a barbed dragon-hide whip.

It was time to teach these vipers that I don't stay dead.
