The story
Ava Monroe became a facial model to pay for her sister's expensive medical treatment, until Dominic Pierce, a wealthy young man obsessed with legs, imprisoned her. He forced her into leg-lengthening surgery; when her legs began to rot, he locked her in the basement and tortured her until she died.
Cast out of the mental health institute for unpaid fees, her sister finds Dominic in Crestfall surrounded by long-legged women. She points to Ava's painting and asks what would happen if she became her. Mimicking expressions she has practiced for years, she makes herself pitiful enough to be taken into his mansion, exactly as Ava was.
She does not want a quick kill. She wants something Ava would like, and Dominic's beloved dog Brutus is only the beginning.
Opening
I suffer from extreme mental illness.
My sister, Ava Monroe, became a facial model to earn money for my expensive medical treatment.
She was 5’3” tall but was noticed because of her beauty by a wealthy young man by the name of Dominic Pierce with a leg obsession. He imprisoned her.
“This is the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen. If only your legs were a bit longer, I’d die with a smile.”
Ava was forced to have leg-lengthening surgery. After the operation, her legs began to rot.
