The story
Shannon Jackson and her twin sister Riley were separated as babies, but stayed in close contact and dreamed of reuniting on their eighteenth birthday. That dream shatters when Shannon secretly returns to Oceanwood and finds Riley's body in a dark hotel corner, dead after being raped. Shannon buries her sister in a field of baby's breath, removes the mole from her face, and takes on Riley's identity to hunt whoever is truly responsible.
The first person she meets is Joanne Lowe, Riley's trusted friend, who invited Riley to the hotel and was the last to contact her. Shannon plays the gentle sister while Joanne tests her, and when humiliating photos of Riley surface online, Shannon traces the post to her own home, to Linda, the stepmother who destroyed her parents' marriage. To avenge Riley, Shannon must hide her rage and unmask every hand behind her sister's death.
