At the gate for the earliest flight to her dying grandmother, a young woman in worn clothes is bumped from an overbooked plane while designer-clad platinum members walk straight through. When she begs the agent, Leo Carter, to ask if anyone will switch seats, he mocks her grief and asks whether she thinks her family owns the airline. She does.

Before she can reach her father's private line, a livestreamer called Blaze films her, branding her a scammer to his audience. Leo backs the story, and when security arrives they pin her to the floor, tearing her shirt as the crowd whispers and the camera keeps rolling.

One call could still clear a private route to her grandmother. But with her humiliation broadcast live, the woman must decide how far she will go to reach the hospital in time.
