Seeing his reckless face, I couldn't help but sneer.
Some onlookers, seeing the sunglass man driving a luxury car and speaking dominantly, assumed he was some young master from a wealthy family. Wanting to curry favor, they started chiming in for him.
"This VW driver talks big. Hit someone else's car and wants them to pay? Someone gets mad and kicks his door once, and he wants to send them to jail? He thinks just because the other guy is young, he's easy to fool!"
"Young man, don't be afraid. Add my number; uncle can testify for you if needed!"
"Yeah, bro, I studied some law too. Damage to property only becomes criminal over five thousand. That kick just now scratched a little paint at most. How could a little paint on his crappy VW be worth five thousand?"
The already arrogant Chris Hall got even more pumped up listening to the crowd's instigation.
He slapped the hood of my car hard and yelled at me: "Today, not only will you pay for my car, but you also have to kneel and apologize to me, or don't think about leaving!"
I sneered and pointed at the approaching traffic police: "Ask the officer who should pay! As for kneeling, you better find a spot for yourself in advance!"
