The story
Summer Miller is a mid-tier actress known for her craft rather than her social media presence. When the cast of her drama The Dearest appears on a live-streamed variety show, the first game asks each guest to call their "dearest person" on air. Bella Sterling, currently trending over a leaked romance, dials "My Love Silas" and softly confirms a relationship with the tech billionaire Silas Thorne. Summer frowns: the Silas in question is her own husband, and the limited-edition car Bella showed off was Summer's birthday gift.
Bella then calls Charles Miller, the real estate tycoon, and calls him dad, building a golden-girl image before the cameras. Summer knows her father has only one daughter. Yet Charles answers Bella warmly and agrees to come.
When the host forces Summer to call the contact labeled Sponsor A, the same familiar voice answers her affectionately, and the live chat begins to suspect whose father is really on the line.
