The story

Medusa Revara, a recessive omega, learns from Dr Bridgejit that she is pregnant. Before she can tell her fated mate, Alpha Prince Ethan of the Elphine Pack, rival alphas ambush her. She escapes to Ethan's office, but he pushes her away in disgust and orders his assistant to take her to the hospital. There she loses the child.

Returning home, Medusa finds Clara Creeks' lingerie and scent in their bedroom. Ethan lies about being caught in the rain, and she discovers his hidden social account, where he posts a pampering apology to Clara at the meadow that was once Medusa and Ethan's special place.

Having endured years of resentment as a weak omega, Medusa contacts Mr Lengerhan to join his agency within two weeks and transfers her work away from the pack. When Ethan serves breakfast the next morning, it is for Clara, not her.

Opening

“Ms Revara, congratulations, you are pregnant.” The doctor congratulated me. “Since you are a recessive omega, pregnancy can be difficult. Please be more careful.”

“Thank you, Dr Bridgejit.” I smiled and stood up. My wolf was almost dancing in joy and was excited to pass the good news to her Alpha, Ethan.
