The story
Luna Hill wakes in her dorm on the day her roommate Sia Lowe first receives an antique bronze censer bought online. Luna remembers dying: Sia burned incense from that censer, slowly took on Luna's face, swapped bodies with her, seized her identity and her wealthy fiancé, buried her in debt, and pushed her from the 33rd floor. Now Luna is back at the beginning, and the censer sits in a delivery box on the floor.
When Sia's packages dirty Luna's bedsheet, roommates Yennifer Hann and Moana Howel demand Luna apologize. Luna instead names the bedsheet's price, nine thousand three hundred dollars, and offers to settle the debt with Sia's belongings, starting with the censer. Sia, who cannot pay and cannot let anyone open her boxes, agrees to hand it over for one day.
Luna knows every wish carries a price, and this time she intends to make Sia pay it.
Opening
My roommate bought an antique bronze censer online. She burned incense day and night, praying to be with a wealthy boyfriend. I thought it was silly, until her face began to look like mine.
Soon, she became the admired heiress, while I was left drowning in debts she had deliberately racked up. I begged her for my identity back, and she pretended to agree. However, she tricked me into giving her my bank account password and pushed me off a rooftop.
