The story
A tender farewell between a wife and her husband at a train station is filmed by a stranger and goes viral — until a comment claims the man is someone else's husband, and his other wife is about to give birth. The wife dismisses it as absurd; she has just legally married Matthew. But the online hunt for the mistress spreads, and at his office door she overhears a friend teasing him about juggling Ava and Nora.
Nora is Matthew's adoptive niece, and the office she once decorated now holds only Nora's toys. A ring ordered to Nora's finger size, a heart pendant split between them, a dinner of shrimp and tofu she cannot eat — each moment shows where his loyalty lies. When she says she will report Nora for the rumors, he calls her unreasonable.
Surrounded by guests who orbit Nora, the wife finally understands the marriage she is about to enter.
