The story
As a content creator, Tyler chases viral trends, so when a challenge to surprise your best friend with a kiss pops up, he knows it is perfect. Steven, his childhood friend and roommate, is the obvious target. Tyler hides his phone to record the stunt, climbs onto Steven's lap, and grabs his tie — but Steven turns his head, and their lips meet for real.
Worse, Tyler's phone is on a live call with both their mothers, who erupt in delighted screams and start planning a future for the two of them. Steven refuses to explain, leaving Tyler to squirm under the interrogation. Even after Tyler edits and posts the video with Steven's face blurred, the comments flood in with wild theories about the pair.
Now Tyler must face the fallout of a prank gone completely sideways — and the mothers who will not let it go.
Opening
Challenge: Kiss your best bro and see how he reacts.
I waited until Steven was distracted by his phone, then I pounced. I climbed onto his lap, grabbed his tie, and planted a kiss on him.
He froze, staring at me in total disbelief, his hand covering his lips.
Suddenly, we heard a high-pitched scream from a phone: "Steven's mom! Come quick! It's happening for real!"
Wait… what?
