The story
When Robert Quinn asks his wife Catherine for a divorce to chase Diane, the high-school sweetheart he never got over, he believes true love is worth more than money. He vows to walk away from twenty-five years of marriage with nothing and build a new life with his own hands.
But Robert married into the Sterling family under a prenuptial agreement: the houses, the shares and Sterling Corp itself belong to Catherine and their daughter Chloe. As majority shareholders, mother and daughter can remove him as CEO at a stroke, and Chloe intends to take his place.
Then Chloe discovers that Robert has installed Diane's daughter, Brianna Bishop, as a manager in the sales department, and that Brianna has just cost the company a twenty-year contract. Robert may not be leaving as empty-handed as he promised.
Opening
