My Family Left Me to Die on the Snow Mountain and Went Mad with Regret

After Nathan falls from a snowy mountain, none of his family notices he is gone. His sister Isabel snaps at him over the walkie-talkie, his girlfriend Winona accuses him of stealing his brother-in-law Justin's glove, and his parents throw the radio down the mountain. A month later they finally remember him, only to learn his body has been brought down: he gave his warm clothes to Justin Meyer and froze to death. His last message says that in his next life he will never be part of the Miller Family again.

Now a ghost, Nathan watches his housekeeper Walter tell the truth and be disbelieved. His father rages, his mother sneers, and Justin plays the wounded victim. Winona turns on Nathan too, and later comforts Justin in his room, confessing she wishes she had accepted him first. Only his best friend Mike Lewis defends him, packing his belongings and cursing the family who protected the one who got their own son killed.

Unheard and unseen, Nathan can only watch the people he loved choose the man who destroyed him.
