My mom's the raider, and my dad says fuck her.

A three-year-old girl named Lily lives with her mother, Anya, and her distant father. Her mother reveals she is on a mission: if she cannot make her father fall in love with her again, the system will erase her from existence. When Lily secretly tells her father, he coldly says to let her die. Her mother hears, but only holds Lily gently.

Later, her mother dies. Her father, who had been indifferent and had even asked for a divorce, goes mad with grief. Neighbors say he married Anya because she resembled his first love, Celeste, who has returned after a divorce. Lily is left alone, trying to wake her mother, unable to call for help, and slowly starving.

As her father stays away, Lily clings to the cold body, remembering her mother's plea to grow up brave. The story follows a child's quiet vigil and a father's devastating realization.
