Seal My Heart

Joaquin Landon is a celebrated wax sculptor, and his wife Serena has long stood in as his model, even when he could not afford to hire one. When she calls him to save her life, he hangs up to focus on the wax sculpture his cousin Giselle wants. What follows is unspeakable: injected with amphetamine so her mind stays clear, she is turned into a wax figure while still alive.

At an exhibition, Joaquin studies a figure that looks eerily like her and feels only disgust. "All she does is cause trouble and act unreasonably. She's better off dead," he tells his colleague. He does not know she is already gone. As the police investigate, forensic specialist Carter Dodson, once Serena's employer, recognizes her chestnut eyes, and Joaquin still refuses to believe anything is wrong.

Giselle, meanwhile, plans a beach trip and reminds Joaquin of a secret she has never told anyone. As the evidence closes in, the question is not whether Serena is dead, but whether the man who wished her gone will ever admit what he helped destroy.
