The story
A man has grown used to being stood up by his girlfriend, Jennifer York, who always puts Felix Kenner first. When she cancels their dinner again, he simply eats his hot dogs and lets it go, knowing Felix's post is the reason she never came.
Since Felix joined her company, Jennifer has defended him at every turn, helping him with his work while dismissing the man's own requests. He no longer argues, no longer waits, and quietly stops making her breakfast.
When Jennifer insists nothing is going on and asks why he is acting this way, he says only that he believes her and leaves for work.
Opening
The caption reads, "You make the best medicine."
After being stood up by Jennifer so many times, I've long since stopped caring.
If anything. I'm starting to think I should break up with her as soon as possible and let the two of them be together.
