Seven Years of Secrets

Years ago, Nathan cut ties with his family and eloped abroad with Jess, the painter he loved. He worked himself to exhaustion to buy her art supplies, but she took three million dollars from his parents and watched as he was forced onto a helicopter home, telling him a pauper had no right to speak of a future.

Seven years later, at a charity gala, Jess begs Nathan for money. Now a powerful CEO, he agrees on one condition: she must be the artist for his wedding to Susan, his fiancée, and witness his happiness. His friends warn him against her, but Jess accepts at once, hiding that the money is to save Madelyn, a little girl who shares his blood and whom he never knew existed.

As she washes dishes to pay the hospital bills, Nathan finds her and asks why she is ruining her hands. He does not know how much she is still hiding.
