The story
On the third day after the college acceptance letters arrive, Natalie Simmons proposes a fake bank heist to the class group chat, and the whole class eagerly signs on. Ethan Brooks alone refuses, remembering a previous life in which he stopped the stunt, was blamed when Natalie sank into depression, and was killed by his classmates at the graduation dinner. This time he stays silent, takes screenshots, and saves every message, file, and voice note.
Natalie posts the plan publicly, naming the Middleton Street Branch and a Friday time, and the chat floods with Ethan's name as the class assumes he will give in. Ryan Carter and Tina Young press him privately, while strangers online ask oddly specific questions about the bank's entrances and vault. Ethan keeps collecting evidence and calls his homeroom teacher, Mr. Zeller, who tells him not to confront the class and promises to verify everything.
Opening
"We're all adults now, and we've already been accepted into college. We should do something exciting before the semester begins. Let's put on a show and stage a fake bank heist. It'll be fun."
