The story
One hour before her abortion, Elara is doom-scrolling a forum when she finds an anonymous post from a "fake heiress" boasting about taking the real daughter's family, husband and job. The photo attached matches Bella Sterling's Instagram story, and the ring described is the one her husband Gavin wears. Elara realises the woman in the story is her.
After the procedure, Gavin calls to confirm it is done, then disappears for three days. He returns with a gift for their son Leo and a necklace for Elara that Bella reveals was her dog Buster's old collar. When Gavin hands Elara a decade-old "Get Out of Jail Free" card signed by Bella, the last of her love turns to ash. Her mother dismisses the abortion, and Gavin storms out.
As friends urge her to forgive him, Elara opens Gavin's Facebook and sees his latest status update.

Anonymous User: Oh, I win this one. I’m the "fake heiress" everyone loves.
Not only did I enjoy eighteen years of luxury meant for that idiot "real daughter," but I also took her husband. He was practically begging for me, even though she picked up my leftovers.
When she finally came back to the family, I faked a depression spiral.
