The Man Behind the Mask

Pregnant and alone since her husband Mark Russell moved out and demanded a divorce, Elizabeth Crane fills her nights as best she can. Her body has grown unbearably sensitive, and she secretly buys a toy to soothe the cravings she is too embarrassed to mention to her doctor.

Then, one quiet night, a masked stranger breaks into her home. He pins her against the wall, covers her mouth, and tells her he has not come for money. He knows about the toy hidden in her nightstand, a secret she has told no one, and he seems to know exactly how to use it. Terrified yet unable to resist, she begins to wonder who he is and how he could know such intimate things about her.
