The Missing Donna His Unforgivable Betrayal

In New York’s underworld, my name topped every do-not-cross list.

My husband, Don Dante Russo, ruled the most powerful Mafia family on the East Coast. My father ruled the second.

Once, they wiped out an entire family overnight for threatening me.

But when I was six months pregnant, I received a video.

It showed a family portrait session.

My pregnant half sister, Bianca, stood beside my husband Dante while he carefully supported her waist. My father stood with them, smiling at the camera.

A message from Bianca followed.

My mother took your father. Now I’ve taken your husband.

I didn’t cry or make a scene.

I walked out of the clinic and made one call.

“In seven days, I need a new identity and a flight no one can trace.”

My father and husband had both betrayed me.

I wanted nothing to do with a love so tainted by lies.

But after I left, regret drove them both mad.
