Our Marriage Was Kept Secret, While She Documented Her Love For Another Man

Rachel insists on keeping her marriage hidden. She makes her husband delete their wedding photo, calls it childish, and on their third anniversary leaves him waiting three hours in a freezing parking garage with her favorite flowers, texting that he would humiliate her in front of employees. He tells himself she is simply shy and reserved.

Then her old phone lights up: a notification reading "1,500 days together" beside a photo of her and Dylan, the underprivileged student she sponsored through college, cheek to cheek at Disneyland. Scrolling her secret account, he finds four years of daily posts about Dylan, every caption sweet in a way she never once showed him. On Valentine's Day, while he eats instant noodles alone in a cold kitchen, she posts about their fourth Valentine's together.

When Rachel is promoted to General Manager of Marketing at Apex Group, the press release credits her alone, though the contract was signed only through his connections. At the company gala, the sign-in sheet lists Dylan as her family. He calls Vernon about the London transfer.
