The story
When a car accident leaves Julian with a traumatic brain injury, he wakes believing he is his roommate Arthur. He adopts Arthur's mannerisms, birthday, and entire social circle — and, by extension, believes Arthur's girlfriend Mia is his own. He bombards her with inappropriate messages and photos, while Arthur, who was driving during the crash, begs her to play along. The Thorne family is wealthy and powerful, and Arthur fears a ruinous legal settlement if Julian's family sues.
Mia agrees to humor him, but Julian's behavior only grows more extreme. He hugs her outside the dorms, texts her relentlessly, and watches her through video calls with predatory intensity. Arthur insists he will step in if Julian crosses a line, yet he stays absorbed in his games while Julian corners Mia with unsettling questions.
When Arthur fails to answer her calls before a meetup, Mia must face Julian alone.

But Arthur is my boyfriend's name.
