The story
Zoe Jackson shares a room with Sue Lynd, Tiffany and Bobo Strauss. The night before postgraduate admissions are announced, Zoe finds strange lines scribbled on her exam paper: Sue will ask her to fetch tiramisu, and when Zoe refuses, she will be framed for poisoning her roommate, miss her admission interview, and lose the place to Sue.
When Sue sweetly asks for the dessert, Zoe declines, but Tiffany and Bobo turn on her, accusing her of selfishness and ingratitude. Cornered by everyone's stares, Zoe finally agrees and returns with the white box.
She now knows the prophecy is real and that Sue means to destroy her life for a postgraduate spot.
Opening
She always kept telling us how smooth and sweet it tasted, but I never cared for it, until the day before the announcement of postgraduate admissions.
I was reviewing past exam papers when I saw the lines scribbled on the sheet.
[Your roommate Sue Lynd will ask you to get her tiramisu tonight, and then she will leave the room in a hurry.]
[The next day, the cops will arrest you for premeditated bodily harm, and you will be exposed on the internet…
