The story
Craig Green has long funded the scholarship student Izzy Waite, and when his wife Jane Shaw tries to rescue Izzy from a shark in open water, Izzy repays her by telling Craig that Jane slandered her and slept around. Craig refuses to hear Jane out and has her sewn inside the belly of a living shark, leaving her trapped in darkness with only a monitor and a medical sensor to show the world outside.
Pregnant and slowly losing her strength, Jane clings to her baby and begs the fishermen on the shore to call Craig's assistant, Andrew Barker. But Craig arrives arm-in-arm with Izzy, who has secretly tampered with the vital-sign monitor to make Jane look stable, and he dismisses her pregnancy as a lie, ordering the media to spread rumours that she has been living wild behind his back.
As her body grows cold and her voice fades, Jane can only remember the time Craig loved her, and wonder whether he will ever come for her.
Opening
The scholarship student, Izzy Waite, whom Craig Green had been funding, decided to seek some thrills by engaging in group intimacy in the open sea. They messed around in a way that drew blood and unintentionally attracted a shark.
I risked my life to drag her back to shore.
