The story
As the lawful wife of Lorenzo, the Don-to-be of the Corleone family, Elena must receive the family's sacred totem before his succession. But her stepsister Sophia, the adopted Principessa, tattoos the Angel's Eye inverted on her back—the mark of a rat, a traitor, punishable by death under the Code of Omertà. When the Capos see it, Lorenzo silences the room, wraps Elena in his jacket and calls it a child's accident, protecting Sophia instead of his wife.
Elena refuses to accept it. Walking out, she hears Lorenzo swear she loves him too much to disobey. Then Sophia boasts of the brand on the Dark Web, and Elena remembers how she once saved the beggar girl in Naples and made her Principessa. With an encrypted call, she orders Sophia taken to a safe house in the East District—and prepares to teach her what true art is.
Opening
