The story
Ashley is a high school student whose final exams are near, so he pays Serena, a top scholarship student, to tutor him. On the day lessons are meant to begin, Serena arrives with her boyfriend Julian and asks that he join their sessions. Ashley refuses, and Julian runs out, only to be struck by a car and crippled.
Years later, Serena has married Ashley, and on their fifth wedding anniversary she poisons his soup, blaming him for Julian's ruin and watching him die. Ashley wakes to find himself reborn on the very day Serena first brought Julian to his house.
Now Ashley faces the same request again. Serena presses him to let Julian study with them, calling him selfish, while Julian pleads for help. Remembering the grudge that cost him his life, Ashley refuses once more and pays Serena her tutoring fee, telling her not to return.
Opening
But the day she was supposed to start, she showed up with her boyfriend, Julian, and insisted he join our study sessions.
I politely declined, and she didn't press the issue.
However, on the very day they left my house, Julian was hit by a car, crippling him.
He had to drop out of school to work.
After that, Serena continued to tutor me.
