Cage Bird’s New Game

Rumor has it that Barrett, a local billionaire, is tired of his kept girlfriend after three years and plans to break things off. Rather than cry, she posts an in-network referral for her ex on a gossip forum, offering his contact for a thirty percent finder's fee. Within half a day, two thousand women apply, and she creates a group chat to auction off his private itinerary, since he dutifully sends her his hotel details.

The bidding war climbs toward six figures, and a glamorous socialite wins the first meeting. But Barrett's cold indifference and his pointed remark about sending seasonal collections to his girlfriend leave the group undeterred; they dub themselves the Billionaire Capture Alliance and beg for her success secrets. When Barrett returns home covered in wine, tea and coffee stains, she realizes her clients are far too aggressive.

As the alliance grows bolder, she must keep her cash cow alive while he keeps acting like a doting boyfriend.
