The story
Sent to a correctional facility by his family for five years, Bobby learns only obedience. When his wife, Casey Anderson, collects him, her first words are a cold warning about Roger. In answer, he runs into traffic.
In the hospital, his foster brother Roger Leander smashes a bowl, falls onto the glass and cries out that Bobby attacked him. His mother slaps him and says she would rather see him dead; obediently, he jumps from the window. A system tells him he has completed ninety-nine tragic storylines and must finish this last one to return to his original world and revive his younger sister.
As his father signs the consent forms and Casey begins to question Roger's story, Bobby wakes to their demands that he apologize to the brother who framed him.
Opening
The first thing I learned there was obedience. If people told me to do one thing, I would never dare do anything else.
The day my wife, Casey Anderson, came to pick me up, she stood at the entrance and said coldly, "If you dare say another bad word about Roger, I'll make sure you never speak again."
The moment she finished speaking, I turned and ran straight into traffic.
When she saw me get thrown by the impact of the car, she nearly lost her footing.
At the hospital, my foster brother stood beside my bed with a sinister smile.
