The story
A Rage Curse has swept the werewolf world, and only a strong Alpha can hold his throne against it. For nine years, Harper served as Alpha Liam's personal alchemist, brewing "Serenity," the potion that kept his curse at bay, and helping his pack, Silverclaw, grow from a back-alley crew into a pharma empire. Liam promised her the Chief Alchemist title and a share of the profits.
On his coronation day, he hands it all to Chloe, a high-born she-wolf newly joined to the pack, leaving Harper, a lowly Omega, with nothing. When Harper confronts him, he crushes her with his Alpha aura and tells her to be grateful she was allowed to stay. Walking out, she knows one thing: without her potion, the power he prizes will turn him back into the rabid animal he truly is.
In the lab, Chloe shatters the vial Harper brewed to keep her dying adoptive father, Marcus, alive. Harper's control snaps, and Liam's fury follows.
