The story
Chuck Carson is a man who must win at everything, so when a no-looking-back game is proposed on the Hodge family yacht, everyone expects him to hold firm. His girlfriend Selena Hodge and his friend Ivan Motley stand behind him while his older brother Mack Carson tries to trick him into turning around. When Mack claims the two are kissing, Chuck looks back and sees that it is true.
Ivan admits Selena chased him for four years in college, and Mack admits he knew all along. Chuck's parents, Leanne Griffith and Karl Carson, along with Selena's parents Edna Hartman and Victor Hodge, urge him to let it go for the sake of the families. Alone in the cabin, Chuck deletes years of messages and photos, then overhears Selena tell Mack she will not check on him. On the aft deck, Ivan asks Selena if she has truly let go, and her single word cuts deep.
Opening
The rule is that I stay where I am and can't turn around. If I do, I lose.
My girlfriend, Selena Hodge, and good friend, Ivan Motley, stand behind me. Meanwhile, my older brother, Mack Carson, is in charge of finding a way to trick me into looking back.
