The story
On the day Clara forces Jason to sign the divorce papers, he is bound to a self-sabotaging system that orders him to slap her and tell her to get lost. Terrified of Clara, a ruthless woman rebuilding her business after bankruptcy, and of the system's threat that refusing means death, he obeys and flees the house.
The system then orders him to smash a police car. After he shatters its side view mirror, he is arrested, fined, and detained for ten days. Clara blocks his calls and tells the police to notify her only when he is dead. When he returns, she accuses him of stealing confidential bidding documents, while Maxey Tyler, the love of her life, blames him too. The system orders Jason to slap Maxey, and Jason finally understands: the sabotage is building his alibi.
Opening
The system commanded me to slap her hard and tell her to get lost.
I trembled in fear because Clara was a ruthless person.
If I dared to stop her from getting back together with the love of her life, she would utterly destroy me.
But the system threatened me: "If you don't self-sabotage, you will die soon."
Left with no choice, I slapped her.
As soon as I hit her, I ran out of the house, terrified.
