The story

On the day she was to marry her adopted brother Liam, Chloe wakes up five years in the past—back to the moment she first confessed her love and he politely turned her down, saying he only sees her as a sister. She knows what he hid back then: the same forbidden feelings, buried under the calm mask of a responsible older brother. This time, she answers his rejection with a teasing vow—whoever regrets it first must live as the other's puppy.

Liam keeps his distance, cooking her breakfast and handing her an umbrella, while quietly tracking her every move. When she mentions a class reunion, his questions sharpen, and the name of a boy named Josh is enough to unsettle him. Chloe lets him stew, aware that the possessiveness he calls brotherly care is something else entirely.

He raised her for a decade, yet insists on the sibling card. Now she intends to make him feel every bit of the pain he once made her carry.
