The story
Nora Lovelace, a 26-year-old white-collar professional, has long suppressed herself under a conservative upbringing. The repression has bred a strange, embarrassing condition: an uncontrollable urge to seek secret thrills with strangers, one that disrupts her life until she seeks help at a private hospital.
Her doctor, Dr. Morgan Lancaster, is only a year older—elegant, charming, effortlessly witty. He diagnoses her ailment as psychological and prescribes a liquid suppressant, yet Nora finds herself uniquely sensitive to male doctors. In his consultation room her fantasies spiral, and she cannot keep her hands off him. Bound by professional ethics, he pulls away and sends her home with the medicine.
The suppressant quiets her for three days, then the rebound hits harder than before. On the day of her follow-up, her control crumbles on the bus and again in his dispensary, where she boldly pursues him. Dr. Lancaster insists she drink her medicine—but his flustered reaction suggests he is not as unaffected as he pretends.

"Please, doctor! I'm begging you!"
As soon as I get off work, I can't control my urges anymore, so I quickly bolt toward the private hospital.
Ever since I'm afflicted with the ailment that makes me addicted to pleasure, I keep feeling very empty on the inside. The urge to let loose and satisfy myself keeps plaguing me at all times.
Left without a choice, the doctor can only feed me some medication.
