The story
After marriage, Victoria takes Aaron Caldwell's paycheck and sets a strict monthly allowance on his phone, calling it spending money while she covers household costs. Every purchase brings her interrogation, and he often cannot afford a meal by month-end. He believes her obsessive saving is for their future.
Then Aaron earns a promotion and a raise. To celebrate, he treats his colleagues to bubble tea, but Victoria demands a refund. The furious merchant throws the drinks in his face and strikes him, while the office watches. His allowance is shut off, and Victoria's junior assistant, Noah, posts about a luxury gift from his boss-lady.
Five years of marriage suddenly feel like a cruel joke, and Aaron begins to see where the money, and the love, truly go.
